Project Info:
This project is intended to maintain a level of service of 0.80 acres per 1000 population. The 2021 Bexar County Parks Masterplan reported that the County should add between 900 to 1,100 acres of new park sites by 2030 for an expected population of 2.9 million. The County has acquired a property in far west Bexar County, in Precinct 1, where much of the population growth is occurring now.
This lovely greenspace will be studied to determine the park amenities that will be best suited for this area. Project will also include design and construction of this new County park.
